First day out on the snow for 09/10 season.

I got out to Cataloochee on Sunday for the Cat Can-U-Ski. My buddies and I all woke up at 5am and headed up to Cat, drove all the way to the entrance of Newfound Gap from Knoxville only to find out at the entrance of Sugarland that Newfound Gap was closed. Headed back through G-Burg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, got on I40 and set the cruise control to 85, arrived in Newport, took windy mountain roads for the next 2 1/2 hours. All in all the trip up to Cat took 5 hours from Knoxville. The lift lines were very long, but the snow was great. Cat did a great job getting the mountain set for a couple of thousand skiers/boarders. I got the Vio POV camera out for the first time on Sunday, made a little edit. Only a couple weeks till Utah, hope Ullr lays down some snow out there...
